Here is an example of an image taken at a height of 15 metres with an original image resolution of 316 million pixels; this enables the printing of a banner at a resolution of 144 dpi measuring 4.65m x 2.12m. What does this mean ?
Knowing that a good LCD screen, has on average, a resolution of 96 dpi it would be necessary to have a monitor 7 metres by three metres in order to view our images at their full resolution. Impossible, but that is how good our images are :
